I had the students sing at the very end of class for a bonus point. The CD stopped working so we sang it on our own....unfortunately, my voice was closest to the camera...
I made up the motions for the book song...ha.
The roleplay was the Ant and the Grasshopper. It's a lesson with dialogue using "Sorry, I can't."
Ant: Can you help me?
G: Sorry, I'm sick.
A: That's too bad. (repeat with I have a cold)
Winter--Grasshopper: I'm hungry. Can you help me?
Ant: Sure, I can. This is for you.
G: Thank you.
But this group didn't say some of these lines. That's the idea of the roleplay...to speak. They like it a lot surprisingly.
