Sometimes you inspire, sometimes they kill ya

Teaching: changing a classroom environment, changing a system of language learning from memory and repeating to engaging and creating, realizing you aren't always prepared even though the lesson plan is front of you, am I a zookeeper or am I actually teaching?  Reflecting and realizing there are TOO MANY variables to know how to change.  I can change myself...but what am I supposed to do right now?  This new school has been challenging.  To change the system or not?  To throw out the book in exchange for breaking my co-worker's help....this is the time when all those cliches of inspiration are needed. Oh the challenge of remaining loyal to high standards when a class is really testing all your limits.  Seriously some kids yell at will.  OMG, really, kid?  Really?
